The Adaptations component of the MANTRAS Plan is based on a simple observation: many situations of precarity do not stem from a lack of will, but from an unsuitable environment.

Without adaptations, the efforts required become excessive. Fatigue accumulates, health deteriorates, and employment and housing become difficult to maintain.

Our Role

Sociolution is neither a medical service nor an official compensation body.

Our role is to identify adaptation needs and facilitate the implementation of concrete solutions that are compatible with people’s material and financial realities.

We intervene when the absence of adaptation becomes a direct factor in exhaustion, exclusion, or loss of stability.

What Adaptations Cover

Adaptations may concern:

  • housing
  • the workplace
  • educational or training settings
  • tools used in daily life
  • time and task organization

They particularly address situations related to disability, including neurodivergence, chronic fatigue, or mental health conditions.

What We Do in Practice

Depending on individual situations, we help to:

  • identify real adaptation needs
  • translate those needs into concrete and realistic solutions
  • direct people toward existing programs, assistance, or equipment
  • support adjustments in housing, the workplace, or educational settings
  • intervene on site when necessary to encourage adaptations, dialogue, and mutual understanding
  • reduce avoidable situations of exhaustion

Our goal is to make daily life sustainable, not to pursue unrealistic performance standards.

Why This Axis Is Central

Without adaptations:

  • health deteriorates
  • employment becomes unstable
  • housing becomes fragile
  • dependency on assistance increases

With appropriate adaptations, it becomes possible to:

  • preserve health
  • maintain an activity
  • retain material stability
  • reduce disruptions in life pathways

A Coordinated Approach

The Adaptations component works directly with:

This coordination enables sustainable solutions rather than temporary fixes.

Who It Is For

This support is intended for people who:

  • live in environments unsuitable for their health condition or functioning
  • exhaust themselves in avoidable situations
  • risk losing employment or housing due to lack of accommodations
  • need support to transform a need into a concrete solution

Our Positioning

We work in complementarity with existing programs and relevant professionals.

Our role is not to replace them, but to make adaptations possible and accessible.
